Who is İsmail Davut Çapar?

Dr. İsmail Davut Çapar was born in 1985 in Osmaniye, Turkey. He graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. In 2012, he completed his PhD at Selçuk University and earned his specialist title. In 2013, he was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics at İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2015, he was awarded the title of associate professor in the field of Endodontics.

Dr. İsmail Davut Çapar serves as a reviewer for numerous international journals, including the International Endodontic Journal, and he is the editor of the European Endodontic Journal. He has 75 national and international scientific publications, 23 of which are in highly esteemed journals such as the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal.

Dr. İsmail Davut Çapar has been an invited speaker at various national and international congresses. In 2015, he founded International Association of Endodontic Education Research and Practice (with over 38,000 dental professionals as members) and the Endo Cafe Facebook Endodontic Education groups. Through these platforms, he continues to provide ongoing Endodontic education, both online and in courses designed for dental practitioners.

In 2015, Assoc. Dr. İsmail Davut Çapar organized and chaired the Online Endodontic Congress, a first-of-its-kind event in dentistry. The congress was conducted entirely online, featuring speakers from 20 countries and participants from 125 countries worldwide.
