The cervical barrier in internal bleaching and the role of the restoration in color
Doctor, in one of your cases, you sealed the cavity opening with composite after MTA. But I remember being told at dental school not to use resin-containing materials because bleaching agents damage them, so I use conventional glass ionomer cement (GIC) when I do this. Am I mixing things up? 🤔 Thank you for your work; it is another very nice case 😌
Translated version of the Turkish original
Before internal bleaching treatment, it is important to seal the canal orifices well and without leakage; otherwise, cervical root resorption may develop. In terms of sealing, composite is a superior material to conventional cements.
