Choice of irrigating solution in an abscess with drainage

Can NaOCl be used while active drainage continues?

Translated version of the Turkish original

Textbooks report that using hypochlorite while active drainage continues may cause precipitation apically and prevent effective drainage. For this reason, physiological saline can be used at the start of the procedure. Using micro suction in cases with active drainage is very beneficial. Irrigation with hypochlorite can be performed towards the end of the session.
