The different roles of the apex locator, master cone fit and radiography

I have started using the Supersystem advanced kit. I work with a motor with an integrated apex locator and do not measure the length separately. After shaping is complete, when selecting the master cone, do you insert sizes 25, 30 and 35 one by one and take a periapical radiograph?

Translated version of the Turkish original

At the length given by the apex locator, if one of these gutta-percha cones gives a snug fit at that length and we have no doubt about the length, we can fill directly with that cone without taking a radiograph.
